No doubt people are living longer today, but the quality of health is not necessary better. There is a different between living and just barely hanging on to life. If you don’t take time to nurture your health now, you will be forced to take plenty of time off for your sickness later in life.

So, my friends, take time to embrace life. Let me borrow a famous quote from Jame Patterson, author of a best selling look- Suzanne’s Dairy to Nicholas :“Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - Work - Family - Health - Friends - Spirit, and you’re keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls — family, health, friends and spirit are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered.”

Balance and harmony is the basic element for health and everything else, as the Chinese culture emphasizes on Yin-Yang, the balance of energies. Problems arise when things fall out of balance. People are working more today then ever before. They forgot to take time to nurture their health, their families, their friends and their spiritual, not realizing these are all important to them beside their work.

There are four pillars of health:

  1. Lifestyle
  2. Diets
  3. Fitness & exercise
  4. Environment

These four pillars are equally important to your health. You won’t get healthy by doing all kinds of exercises but keep feeding junks to your body, smoking and drinking…that you know is bad for the body.
